Hi there! I’m Luke, the founder of Apply Yourself—and a firm believer that people deserve to be treated like people, especially when it comes to their careers. After over a decade as a recruiter and writer, I’ve seen how the job market often reduces talented individuals to a set of keywords or a checkbox. That’s why I started this business: to bring humanity back to the hiring process and help people feel confident in who they are and what they bring to the table.

Outside of work, I’m a big nerd who loves staying active. You’ll often find me biking, hiking with my Pup, the Hungry Hungry Chippo, hitting the tennis courts, or acing on the volleyball court. I also am writing and leading a home-brew DND campaign.
